EV1Servers The Planet Acquired by GI Partners May 6, 2006
Posted by admin in : Hosting , add a commentAccording to industry sources, Two of the largest Web hosting providers in the world ThePlanet and EV1 Servers have been acquired by investment firm GI Partners ( http://www.gipartners.com ) .
GI Partners, based in Menlo Park, California, reportedly purchased a controlling interest in each of Everyone’s Internet (ev1.net) and The Planet (theplanet.com), both of which are based in Texas.
According to Robert Marsh , the President and CEO of Everyones Internet , the current management team and almost everyone else place will remain in EV1 .
